Job Context:
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices (Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet Region). CB is implementing 89 on-going projects covering 189 Upazilas focusing on six main priorities i.e i) Social Welfare for Vulnerable Communities (SWVC), ii) Education and Child Development, iii) Nutrition and Health Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Food Security (ECFS), and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples.
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Cox`s Bazar office is looking for suitable candidate for an immediate appointment as well as to prepare a panel list for Emergency Response to the Forcibly Displaced People of Myanmar in Bangladesh.

∎ Position : Quality Control Officer

∎ Job Location : Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar.
∎ Salary : 65,000
∎ Bonus : As per organizational policy
∎ Job Nature : Contractual
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Information Management regarding Suppliers product quality and supply date according to distribution place.
∎ Developing of distribution plan and effective monitoring of the plan.
∎ Collaboration with logistic team and guide the team for quality receiving.
∎ Collect and disseminate all kinds of information related to products and receiving.
∎ Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain.
∎ Coordination with the vendors to ensure prompt and proper delivery. Responding to supplier's inquiries and referring them to the proper channels.
∎ Ensuring that the quality of all goods/services provided meets the required standards.
∎ Develop the processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
∎ Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain.
∎ Responding to supplier's inquiries and referring them to the proper channels.
∎ Visit the warehouses in the camps for supporting and guiding the Logistic team at the field level.
∎ Communicate with relevant stakeholders related to Logistics.
∎ Maintain contact, liaison, network, and coordination with the stakeholders of the public and private sector for exchange ideas/ views, good practices, and learning related to Logistics.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At Least 4 Years working experience in development agency/ I/NGOs in the similar field.
∎ Good understanding on Logistics, procurement, and coordination.
∎ Good interpersonal skill, useful in advocacy and positive approaching.
∎ Good Knowledge on Humanitarian relief products and its quality and price.
∎ Understanding on nationals and local market
∎ Good Report Writing skill.
Salary: Tk. 65000 (Monthly)
