Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in psychology from any reputed university with clinical training in psychiatric ward in any government recognized hospitals/or institutes.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure all sort of focused psychosocial services for improving the beneficiaries' mental health status and promote psychosocial well-being.
∎ Ensure proper psychosocial assessment, treatment and follow up for SC's beneficiary.
∎ To follow up the progress of the treatment and modifies treatment plans as per need.
∎ Provide family counseling to the family member of the beneficiary to strengthen the treatment and all forms of family and social support.
∎ Conducting routine patient check-ups to assess their health condition and discover possible issues.
∎ Provide referrals when necessary for additional care, evaluation, or treatment.
∎ Assist to the SC staff in identifying priority health needs and ensure psychosocial care.
∎ Provide referrals when necessary for additional care, evaluation, or treatment.
∎ Complete all necessary clinical documentation, reporting in an accurate and timely manner.
∎ Ensure all services are completed according to relevant ethical and professional standards of care.
∎ Implementation of on-the-job training of social workers and SC volunteers within the frame of GK and Partners standards.
∎ Train to the SC staff on therapeutic communication and crisis management.
∎ Lead to case discussion meeting as part of enhance the capacity building of the PHC staff.
∎ Support to social workers to follow up and tracking the MHPSS cases under SC support.
∎ Participate actively in the meeting with community health committee, meeting with other stakeholders and internal meetings in PHC.
∎ Take part in OPD and IPD activities as per existing SOPs and Guidelines.
∎ Ensure patient confidentiality is respected and treat all the patients with respect and dignity.
∎ Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Clinic Manger and MHPSS consultant.
∎ To follow the GK/UNHCR protocols and regulation during managing all MHPSS cases in SC.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ working experience on mental health and psychosocial support in health
∎ At least one (1) year experiences with relevant position with NGOs/ INGOs
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
∎ Fluency in oral and written English
∎ Proficiency MS office particularly excel with expertise in Quick books is preferable
∎ Good organizational skills
∎ Good communication skills
∎ Ability to cope with stress working in camp environment
∎ Good command of Chitagonian/Rohingya language and Bangla. English language skills an asset.
∎ Flexibility to perform other tasks and take initiative when required.
∎ Cultural awareness/ sensitivity and empathy to the target population
∎ Awareness and observation of universal medical ethics.
Salary: Tk. 70000 (Monthly)
