Requirements: Skills Required: Additional Requirements: - 3–5 years’ experience in WASH and infrastructure implementation, preferably in coastal or flood-prone areas
- Proven skills in design, planning, supervision and community mobilization
- Experience working with local government institutions (LGED, DPHE, UPs, etc.)
- Strong technical knowledge in water treatment, sanitation, housing and resilient infrastructures
- Competence in AutoCAD, MS Office and project management tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong reporting, coordination and problem-solving ability
- Fluency in Bengali and working knowledge of English
Responsibilities & Context: Responsible for:
- Lead field-level implementation of multi-source water treatment plants, hygiene latrines, cyclone-resilient houses, rural market development and community infrastructure.
- Conduct technical assessments, prepare design drawings and develop BOQs and budgets.
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance and proper use of construction materials.
- Supervise field facilitators, laborers, vendors and sub-contractors during construction and installation.
- Liaise regularly with LGED, DPHE, BWDB, UZPIO and Union Parishads for smooth project operation.
- Facilitate community mobilization, consultations and participatory planning to ensure local ownership.
- Oversee procurement, material receipts and field-level financial documentation.
- Prepare progress reports, monitoring checklists and documentation of lessons learned.
- Coordinate with finance and procurement teams to ensure timely payments and resource use.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Programme Manager or technical supervisors.

- Construction of multi-source water treatment plants for safe drinking water access
- Development of low-cost cyclone-resilient houses and hygiene latrines
- Improvement of community roads, culverts and rural markets
- Support canal re-excavation and embankment protection interventions
- Capacity building of community members, masons, and volunteers on WASH and resilient construction
- Facilitate community-based operation and maintenance systems for WASH and infrastructure assets
- Conduct joint monitoring with GO representatives and community leaders
- Documentation of best practices, case studies and success stories for replication
