Job Summary

  • Prottyashi, A social development organization has been responding the Rohingya Crisis in Cox`s Bazar since the crisis started and currently is going to implement project in the Rohingya community of Cox’s Bazar with the funding of International Organization of Migration (IOM). Prottyashi invites applications for the vacant position titled- Project Officer (Training Center Management) for “Improving Skills and Economic Opportunities for the Bangladeshi Community and Rohingya Women & Youths in Cox’s Bazar” Project.

Reporting

  • Project Officer (Training Center Management) will report to Project Coordinator of the project. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization’s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee overall activities of the Training Center as a core responsible person.

  • Based on project design and plan, implement vocational skill training events that will prepare the participants for employment generation further.

  • Ensure timely arrangement of the vocational skills training through maintaining organized engagement of the trainers.

  • Operate within the established budget and timeline in line with the project needs.

  • Keeping record of the daily activities of the training center including training and further beneficiaries’ engagement on production activities.

  • Avail all the technical and logistics requirements for the facilitation of training.

  • Encourage participants on actively participating in the training sessions.

  • Track participants’ success and progress accomplished on receiving technical supports from the project.

  • Oversee and track participants’ attendance and performance in the training center.

  • Maintain relationship with the target population and the local stakeholders for smooth accomplishment of the training events.

  • Identify challenges in accomplishment of vocational skills training and report to the management to take necessary actions to resolve these.

  • Ensure overall maintenance of the training center through availing supports from other sections of the project.

  • Ensure humanitarian principles are in practice in facilitating training to the participants through availing necessary supports and facilities.

  • Ensure PSEA and safeguarding of the training participants according to the organizational policies and practices.

  • Ensure active complaint and feedback mechanism in place in the training center coordinating with central CFM unit.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Other Benifits:
    • Monthly Gross Salary will be 56,753 BDT with contributory provident fund 2,830BDT, monthly bonus 5,417BDT and regular traveling and communication bill.
