  • Minimum 3-5 years work experience NGO health sector in similar role.

  • Good understanding and hands-on experience in surveillance related project activities & initiatives.

  • Excellent computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Power Point, Excel)

  • Excellent public relations, communication, coordination and Networking skills.

  • Recording, reporting & presentation skills

  • Ability to work on own initiative and collaboratively as part of diverse teams

  • Ability to manage a varied workload, work under pressure, priorities and meet deadlines

Job Purpose: Under the guidance and close supervision of the line manager, this incumbent will address the overall project situation, and to provide advice to the GoB for the creation of an integrated national disease surveillance system and to set the stage for needed policy dialogues concerning the existing disease surveillance system.
