∎ Job Location: Amtali Upazila of Barguna District.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinating, Planning & monitoring the overall progress of the project activities to achieve the project Objectives & Goal.
∎ Oversee the assigned daily programs and develop schedule activities in accordance with funding limitations
∎ Develop publication and other end products of program and coordinate high quality of execution of these products like bill boards, brochure, poster, handbill, presentation etc.
∎ Recruit and select program participants, members, volunteers using appropriate tools and methods and empowering the Community by Establishing CBOs for their access to rights.
∎ Lead the Team members to ensuring appropriate beneficiary selection process; community needs assessments and skill capacity analysis utilization of provided available resources, tools and equipment.
∎ Develop monitoring & working plan to achieve the successful project outcomes
∎ Ensuring CBOs group, VDC, Child Forum, CMC development and conduct training on leadership for their self-capacity building.
∎ Coordinate closely with community based program, project related dept. authorities, UNOs, local govt. including Upazila & Union Parishad.
∎ Establish and maintain close working relationship with the Government, NGOs and donors to foster a learning environment through the project implementation process
∎ Prepare the project planning, coordination, reporting and documentation of meetings, workshops, seminars and other activities of the project, focusing on the technical aspects.
∎ Ensuring & closely monitoring the provided alternative child well-being support facilities &their families life savings support.
∎ Support the project's/program's initiative to provide professional advice and input and to cooperate with a wide range of stakeholders and target groups
∎ Coordinate closely with NGOs, community members (gender oriented and child focused), business sector, other technical consultants as well as local government stakeholders.
∎ Collect, update and process information related to impact monitoring of child well-being related impact indicators.
∎ Periodically present document and results in team meetings and events for Supporting public relations activities for the project
∎ Producing monthly, quarterly, & annual donor report and presentation them at the donor quarter/annual progress review meeting
∎ Evaluate program effectiveness and Monitor program expenditure ensuring budget allocations are adhere to
∎ All other duties assigned by the Executive Director.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 7 years of experience in relevant program management in development sector
∎ The person experienced in child well-being, child protection and community empowerment will get preference.
∎ Working knowledge on program development and design, consultation, training, child well-being learning method focusing on child sponsorship conservation, community led and co-management approach
∎ Strong facilitation, interpersonal and presentation skills and able to develop project based learning, publication materials etc.
∎ Ability to work independently,functioning effectively in a collaborative team environment
∎ Ability challenge mitigating skills.
∎ Strong program monitoring and Supervision skills
∎ Should have strong partner management skills.
∎ Advanced organizational skills and ability to handle multiple task without losing sight
∎ Excellent command on English and Bangla in verbal and written communication
∎ High level proficiency on Computer usage on e.g MS office package, specially power point and other graphical software with internet communication
∎ Excellent communication and networking skill with wide range of stakeholders as govt. NGOs, civil society and local elite and influential people.
∎ Good understanding and analytical ability on current political situation
∎ Ability to Extensive field visit will be essential criteria.
∎ Strong capacity to influence policy maker and government officials and public representatives .
∎ Basic knowledge on advocacy and lobby
∎ Clear knowledge on gender sensitiveness.
Salary:
∎ 40,000 BDT with other benefits as project budget.
