• Minimum 5 years’ experience in M&E and relevant program management in development sector.
• The person Experienced in Health, WASH and Nutrition ,child well-being, child protection and community empowerment will get preference.
• Working knowledge on program development and design, consultation, training, child well-being learning method focusing on child sponsorship conservation, community led and co-management approach
• Strong facilitation, interpersonal and presentation skills and able to develop project-based learning, publication materials etc.
• Ability to work independently, functioning effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Advanced organizational skills and ability to handle multiple-task without losing sight
• Excellent command on English and Bangla in verbal and written communication
• High level of IT skills especially in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point other software with internet communication
• Excellent communication and networking skill with wide range of stakeholders as govt. NGOs, civil society and local elite and influential people.
• Good understanding and analytical ability on current political situation
• Ability to Extensive field visit by motor cycle driving with valid driving license will be essential criteria
• Female candidate will get preference
• In case of experience age may be considered

Nazrul Smriti Sangsad-NSS is a non-government organization working in coastal areas of Bangladesh since 2000 in the field of quality education, DRR and Climate Change Adaptation, Humanitarian Response and Rights and Governance especially ensuring rights of poor, women, adolescents and excluded people. The organization is implementing “Community Engagement Project-CEP funded by World Vision Bangladesh at community level of 3 unions of Amtali Upazila and Amtali Pourashava under Barguna district. It’s a long-term program and in this current program NSS is seeking a M&E Specialist to monitor the program activities. The M& E Specialist is responsible for daily oversight of the program activities including close monitoring and evaluation of the program.

Major Job responsibilities

The M&E Specialist will work within an integrated, coordinated, and systems strengthening approach. The primary roles of the M & E Specialist are:

• Project results framework implementation and ensuring quality assurance on monitoring and evaluation.
• Capacity development.
• Evidence and knowledge development and dissemination
• Provides overall technical support and quality assurance for monitoring and evaluation.
• Provide support to ensure quality of program.
• Facilitate project plan development process and preserve approved.
• Assist to develop Micro-project, Shared Project plans & implementation of APC interventions in the Area Program/Upazila level.
• Facilitate and assist to conduct Program monitoring, baseline, evaluation; documentation of lessons learned, best practices and study.
• Create, implement and provide training on necessary monitoring and evaluation templates and databases
• Established Community & AP based Monitoring System; adopt monitoring tools and flow of information management system to ensure monitoring and support TP learning agenda
• Capacity to write report and case study
• Ensure all M&E events documentation, analysis information and disseminate information with respective stakeholders
• Ensure AP level project’s data collection, validation, maintain accuracy, reliability, relevancy and quality through field visit
• Prepare quality of M&E processes and share M&E products/reports, at different level stakeholders.
• Build M&E Capacity of Upazila & AP team and community stakeholders.
• Capacity to upload the monitoring data and information in the WVB system.

• Salary & benefits: 35,000 BDT with other benefits as per project budget (Salary for the experienced candidate may be negotiated)
