Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Officer-Innovation is mainly responsible for supporting to PC, ICDP-SJ in Support in program planning, training schedule preparation following program guideline.
∎ Prepare monthly/ quarterly/ annual implementation plan as per Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP).
∎ Support to implement DIP activities involving community/stakeholders.
∎ Support frontline staffs in formation of Community Action Groups through engagement of relevant stakeholders at Ward and Union level.
∎ Ensure meetings and orientation for Community Action Groups on social inclusion issues in the remote chars and riverine areas.
∎ Support to implement innovation activities with community engagement in PSIAT development through guidance of Technical Managers.
∎ Prepare all kind of Procurement Plan and distribute of materials accordingly
∎ Support in Community Volunteers hiring process to conduct different learning /awareness sessions with children and parents.
∎ Organize and coordinate upazila level sharing meetings/ workshops on PSIAT development process.
∎ Support to capacity development of Community Action Groups on PSIAT use and mapping of children who are impacted by social exclusion.
∎ Follow up and support Action Plans of Community Action Groups to address the needs of the hard-to-reach, marginalized children to access services.
∎ Mobilize community with the support of frontline staffs to ensure matching funds/ resources to execute Action Plan of Community Action Groups.
∎ Support to organize and facilitate linkage development meetings with Community Action Groups and Union Parishads' representatives for mobilizing resources to execute Action Plan.
∎ Actively participate in program materials development/review process.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 years' working experience in program implementation and coordination at field level, including proven skills in supervisory role.
∎ S/he should have attitude to work in remote chars and flood prone areas of Bangladesh.
∎ Strong skills in training designing & facilitation, presentation, materials development, coordination, monitoring, supervision, time management, problem solving & decision making.
∎ Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills in both English and Bangla. Capable to manage multiple tasks in different areas/unions within given timeline.
∎ Clear understanding about early childhood care and development, primary education, child protection, violence against children, and child marriage situation in Bangladesh. Ability of working with multi sectoral and integrated program related children and community development through system strengthening approach.
∎ Have non-discriminatory & gender sensitive, transparent, accountable, and positive attitude.
∎ Should have proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail communication. Motorcycle driving skills with valid driving license is mandatory for this position.
Salary: Tk. 35000 - 36000 (Monthly)
