Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, community development, or a related area.
∎ Strong understanding of police-community relations and youth engagement.
∎ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
∎ Must be non-biased and maintain high quality ethical standards.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
∎ Fluency in Bengali and English.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage procurement and distribution.
∎ Ensure effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders.
∎ Handle repair and maintenance of office equipment and facilities.
∎ Provide logistic support for project activities, including travel and per diem arrangements.
∎ Develop strong liaison with national and international partner organizations.
∎ Revitalize child marriage prevention committees at various levels in the government.
∎ Organize and facilitate meetings with the union, upazila, and district child marriage prevention committees.
∎ Increase access, capacity, and intervention of law enforcement agencies.
∎ Conduct exposure campaigns with beat police and local government officials for child marriage prevention.
∎ Organize advocacy workshops with district and sub-district police.
∎ Facilitate the formation and functions of School Watch Committees.
∎ Conduct advocacy workshops/seminars with judges and legal professionals.
∎ Strengthen community linkage and feedback mechanisms.
∎ Establish billboards and other awareness materials.
∎ Involve, sensitize, and enable local actors, including community leaders and marriage officiants.
∎ Conduct training sessions for community leaders and marriage officiants.
∎ Organize advocacy workshops/seminars with local government officials at union, sub-district, and district levels.
∎ Conduct workshops with local media (print and electronic) and organize exposure visits for child marriage prevention.
∎ Provide assistance comprehensive baseline studies and action research.
∎ Strong documentation on project activities, outcomes, and best practices.
