Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Officer is mainly responsible for supporting to PC, ICDP-SJ in planning, designing, budgeting, and ensuring effective implementation of integrated program activities at field guided by program strategies & goal and supervising Field Facilitators in day to day implementation.
∎ S/he will act as one of the key technical and implementing person to maintain quality of early childhood care and development, quality basic education opportunities, child protection and preventing child marriage and violence against children.
∎ S/he is primarily responsible for organizing and facilitating capacity building trainings and orientations for program volunteers, primary and secondary school teachers, staffs & stakeholders, community leaders and local government representatives.
∎ S/he will follow up trainings and implementation of program activities, documentation, reporting, quality monitoring and coordination with stakeholders at assigned areas/ unions.
∎ S/he will also be assigned for overall coordination and support for ICDP-SJ program implementation in respective geographical location in remote, riverine and flood prone areas/ unions.
∎ This position will also support PC, ICDP-SJ coordinate with Upazila level primary education official (UEO, URC Instructor, AUEO), Secondary Education Officer, Women Affairs Officer, Social Service Officer, Union and Upazila Parishad, NGOs, relevant stakeholder for cooperation, collaboration effective implementation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 years’ working experience in program implementation and coordination at field level, including proven skills in supervisory role.
∎ S/he should have attitude to work in remote chars and flood prone areas of Bangladesh.
∎ Strong skills in training designing & facilitation, presentation, materials development, coordination, monitoring, supervision, time management, problem solving & decision making.
∎ Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills in both English and Bangla. Capable to manage multiple tasks in different areas/unions within given timeline.
∎ Clear understanding about early childhood care and development, primary education, child protection, violence against children, and child marriage situation in Bangladesh. Ability of working with multi sectoral and integrated program related children and community development through system strengthening approach.
∎ Have non-discriminatory & gender sensitive, transparent, accountable, and positive attitude.
∎ Should have proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail communication. Motorcycle driving skills with valid driving license is mandatory for this position.
Salary: Tk. 34113 (Monthly)
