Implementation and ensuring Career Guidance Cell (CGC) activities in his/her respective area
Assist Friendship school graduates in accessing higher education at different universities, colleges, and other institutions.
Channeling Friendship School Graduates (FSG) to high-value vocational & skill development training programs and ensuring decent job employment.
Specificity in Job Description
Activities:
Identify potential Friendship students for higher studies and skill development training, and create opportunities to prepare them accordingly.
Support for channeling graduates towards employment, training, or higher education.
Arrange a counselling session in school to motivate students.
Liaison with potential employers, educational institutions, and training/vocational centers.
Identify potential partners /institutions to collaborate with for students’ job placement.
Organize and facilitate various leadership development training for Friendship school students.
Maintaining the database and close communication with all current graduates and to-be graduates of Friendship Education Programme (respective assigned area).
To follow-up the workplaces and residences of the graduates to monitor post-employment status and update the Job Portal, prepare and share a report accordingly. • To establish and maintain linkages and network with governmental and non-governmental employers, associations/organizations, and other stakeholders, and act strategically for its functioning.
Tracking the current career path of all graduates (respective assigned area).
Preparing need analysis (potential career plan) of the graduates.
Support to tracking scholarship and sponsor opportunities available around the world and managing them for Friendship graduates.
Preparing yearly and monthly work plans.
Visit schools, students, and Friendship graduates at the field level.
Communicate with the guardian, SMC members, community leaders, local Govt school teachers, and officials.
Support to prepare training and students’ grooming module/schedule and facilitate training/orientation sessions and meetings as and when required.
Ensure to update all relevant documents and prepare reports in a timely.
Regular reporting to the respective Manager.
Any task assigned by the supervisor.
Skill and Competencies:
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor/ Master's degree in any discipline preferably from reputed public university
At least 1 or 2 year(s)
Fresh graduates with strong qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements:
Excellent communication skills in English
Strong communication skill
Computer skills (MS Excel and Word are compulsory)
Physical fitness for regular field visits
