Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors or Master's degree, preferably in Media and Communications/Journalism/Development Studies/English or any other relevant subject to this position.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ SSF is a registered, social change maker organization/NGO working with adolescent health, anti-tobacco
∎ campaign, other health and NCD related health issues in all over the Bangladesh with the support of UN
∎ agencies, international donors, government and other/ partners, stake holders.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Working and building collaborative relations with Government, NGOs, media, private sector and relevant departments/stakeholders.
∎ Organizing workshops, Seminars, training and meetings with stakeholders, etc.
∎ Preparing reports, concept notes, relevant schedules, planning, implementing, coordinating and
∎ management of advocacy-related activities with partners, Government and policymakers.
∎ Design social media posts, info graphics, banners, festoons, brochures, videography etc.
∎ Produce relevant material for campaigning and advocacy purposes e.g. leaflets, media articles, opEds/editorials, features, newsletters, one-pager, etc.
∎ Prepare news, blogs, press releases, event reports, monthly reports, or any other promotional
∎ content for the website and social media.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years (s) of experience in advocacy and communication related activities particularly in
∎ Journalism, Media management and NGOs.
∎ Sound knowledge in Photoshop/illustration and video editing.
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint Presentation, use of email and Zoom meetings etc.
∎ Ability to work under differential conditions for achieving the deliverables.
∎ Must be willing to travel as and when necessary.
Salary: Tk. 40000 - 50000 (Monthly)
