∎ Duty Station 2 positions in Satkhira, 1 position in Shunamgonj

∎ About Programme:
∎ Uttaran is a national development organization working in the coastal region of Bangladesh since 1985 to uphold rights and entitlements and to improve the socio-economic condition of the poor and disadvantaged. Uttaran facilitates in getting access to and control over resources by the poor and disadvantaged to improve agricultural productivity and economic empowerment.
∎ Programme M&E will be responsible for the following tasks:
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Administration Related Roles and Responsibilities:
∎ Abide by the staff's management policy and accounts management policy of the organization.
∎ Submission of weekly/monthly activity plan and report.
∎ Maintain and fulfill properly movement register for field visit
∎ Fulfill and maintain leave form properly
∎ Maintain tour forms properly and submission after tour with the voucher
∎ Preservation of organizational files and resources
∎ Preparation for conducting additional responsibility for the requirement of the organization
∎ Avoid conspiracy, indecent words, and negative views to higher authority and finally show the faith to the organization
∎ Consolidated and unite for the organization
∎ Programme Related Roles and Responsibilities:
∎ Overall concept on the goal, objectives, outputs and activities of the programme
∎ Overall planning for the programme implementation
∎ Knowledge on the logical framework, approach of the projects and programme
∎ Play active role for preserving the documents and resources of the project and programme
∎ Provide cordial cooperation by sharing data, information and feedback for planning of the project and design new project purpose
∎ Attend formal and informal meetings with different stakeholders
∎ Work with relevant committees, and working groups to implement program activities following the work plan, implementation in the schedule, and Monitoring & Evaluation plan
∎ Ensure project visibility in the project area
∎ Ensure the implementation of all activities of the project qualitatively and quantitatively
∎ Carry out any other activities as and when required
∎ M&E Position Related Specific Roles and Responsibilities:
∎ Assist Project Coordinators in designing, planning and implementing M&E framework of the project and programme
∎ Preserve all project related Monitoring and Evaluation documents, Reports, Publications, Documentary etc
∎ Have knowledge on qualitative and quantitative M&E system, large database management, monitoring of access to resources, services, agriculture & livelihoods, Income generating activities, Resilience, natural resource management and Commodity management and Socio economy
∎ Knowledge of participatory approach, institutional assessment, quantitative and qualitative techniques for various assessments and analysis
∎ Ability to manage M&E/MIS database, including template design, data entry, cleaning, logical checks of monitoring data
∎ Prepare monthly reports, event reports, and other data reports, as required
∎ Implement routine, process and outcome monitoring applying both quantitative and qualitative approaches
∎ Assist baseline survey using tools and preserve and manage data for quality report writing
∎ Assist research and publication under the project
∎ Develop annual report for donor and NGO Affairs bureau
∎ Develop success story/case study
∎ Monitoring and evaluation of all staff field level activities
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum one year experience in monitoring and evaluation
∎ Working experience within NGO/INGO in positions like M&E officer
∎ Have knowledge on apps-based data collection tools (KOBO, ODK)
∎ Computer skills with (Microsoft Office (MS Word), Excel, and PowerPoint)
∎ Experience in conducting baseline, mid-term and end line evaluation
∎ Previous experience in conducting research
∎ Expert in the field report, documentation in English
∎ Must have experience in rights based, advocacy and campaign related project implementation
∎ Have valid motor cycle driving license
Salary: Tk. 30000 - 40000 (Monthly)
