Responsibilities & Context:

Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) <www.ypsa.org> is an organization for sustainable development working in greater Chittagong division including Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) since 1985 (International Youth Year). YPSA is being implementing a project supported by DW Akademie at Ukhiya in Cox’s Bazar titled ‘Community Communication Skills Development for Social Awareness in Cox’s Bazar’ project.

Project Duration: Up to December 2025 (possibility to extension)

Job description/Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of monitoring, evaluation, and project reporting mechanisms.

  • Maintain effective communication with national and international stakeholders.

  • Consistently gather field-level information and actively participate in project activities in person.

  • Submit bimonthly progress updates and a comprehensive annual report to DW Akademie, ensuring high-quality project implementation.

  • Supervise all aspects of project operations, including logistics, finance, procurement, and monitoring & evaluation.

  • Oversee the execution of Front Yard Dialogue and Women Dialogue activities.

  • Collaborate with community volunteers from both host and Rohingya populations to form mixed groups, fostering social cohesion through communication-based approaches.

  • Develop and produce audio episodes, video content, and photo stories relevant to community interests and project goals.

  • Organize and facilitate Listener Clubs to encourage community engagement.

  • Create radio and video content in close consultation with YPSA and DW Akademie, ensuring alignment with community needs.

  • Coordinate with Bangladesh Betar to ensure regular broadcasting of Voice of Palong episodes.
