∎ Master of Development Studies (MDS) in Development Studies, Master of Arts (MA) in Social Science, Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science, Diploma in Civil in Civil Engineering

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Preferable within 45 years. But the age will be flexible for the rightly experienced candidate.
∎ At least 7-10 years of working experience in development project management with some more focused on WASH projects in urban/municipal areas.
∎ Having good understanding on Municipal Management System and works of municipalities in Bangladesh, especially on WASH, solid waste management, FSM management etc.
∎ Have proven experiences on program planning, budgeting, report writing and monitoring & evaluation.
∎ Will have fluency in English speaking and will be able to write reports in English. Computer operation skill is mandatory on MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, civil engineering related software(s) and internet using.
∎ Should have adequate experience on advocacy and networking works, linkage/collaboration building with GO-NGOs.
∎ Willing to drive Motorcycle and should have valid driving license.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ SKS Foundation in partnership with WaterAid Bangladesh is implementing "WASH Systems for Heath (WS4H)”program in Lalmonirhat Municipality area. SKS Foundation is looking for suitable candidates for the following positions for the Project. Project tenure is up to November 2027.
∎ Support and guiding the Municipality to develop effective implementation plan in participatory processes involving the urban communities, relevant stakeholders.
∎ Analyze the local urban context in relation to WASH situation and incorporate in the planning.
∎ Interaction with municipality, urban community and supervise closely how effectively the plan is being implemented complying the guidelines.
∎ Communicate regularly with Municipality management and update the project activities.
∎ Guide the Municipal management to monitor the operations of FSTP, FSM in the municipality areas.
∎ Coordinate with the municipality concerned person to ensure the coverage of safely managed sanitation.
∎ Guiding the municipality for tracking the revenue vs. expenditure of the entire sanitation value chain in the municipality areas.· Ensure the quality end products from FSTP by performing laboratory tests.
∎ Ensure submission of relevant progress reports (Quantitative and qualitative) as per project need and agreed with management (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
∎ Assist and guide project staffs to prepare relevant reports and documents as per project need. Collect good practice and success stories and include into reports.
