Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Engineering or Urban Regional Planning
∎ Master Degree in other subject will be accepted for exceptional and experienced candidates
∎ Social worker education will be an asset
∎ Skills Required: Computer Skill

∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordination of the Sanitation Activities
∎ Oversee the sanitation interventions to ensure they are of quality and in compliance with the project proposal and W&L's strategy.
∎ Ensure proper implementation of the existing latrine service
∎ Design desludging and drainage services (technical, economical and managerial aspects).
∎ Design and implement guidelines and training for proper maintenance of the sanitation infrastructures
∎ Contribute to the design of awareness raising sessions and promotion sessions related to sanitation.
∎ Prepare and manage the activities' budget in coordination with Finance and Administrative Department, according to the procurement procedures of Water and Life.
∎ Community Coordination
∎ Ensure the coordination with the community of the intervention zone on sanitation related topics
∎ Ensure their participation in the sanitation project
∎ Work in close relationship with the community to ensure its mobilization and the smooth development of the sanitation project.
∎ Networking
∎ Ensure coordination with the consultants and contractors involved in the sanitation project
∎ Contribute to develop and maintain partnerships and good communication with partners and other stakeholders in Bangladesh in the field of sanitation.
∎ Enhance project relationship with local communities and local authorities.
∎ Participate to meetings with local authorities and other NGOs as required for the implementation of the sanitation project.
∎ Coordination & Reporting
∎ Ensure the coordination of the implementation of the activities in the field of sanitation
∎ Organize regular internal meetings to update the team on sanitation project
∎ Participate to update meetings with donors related to sanitation project
∎ Prepare and send monthly reports (in the right format) of the sanitation activities as required by E&V and W&L
∎ Ensure the reporting, monitoring and evaluation of the sanitation activities
∎ Prepare and share the minutes of internal and external meetings
∎ Team Management & Technical Training Support
∎ Manage a team
∎ Conduct annual appraisal and proceed to any new recruitment or termination within the sanitation team, with the support of the HR Department
∎ Recommend and implement specific and technical trainings for the sanitation team
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong knowledge and experience in sanitation
∎ Proven experiences in the use of computer especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
∎ Knowledge in AutoCAD software is highly preferred
Salary:
∎ Tk. 65000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary can be negotiated for deserving candidates.
