Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/master's in education/early childhood development or relevant Degree in any relevant discipline with 5 years' experience of managing education project.
Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Role overview
∎ To manage the development and implementation of the education in emergency project for the "Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals" and the affected host communities in Cox's Bazar ensuring that VSO's unique volunteering for development approach, People First framework, and core approaches are at the heart of all that we do; and, that we deliver sustainable change for, with and by our primary actors.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Working experience in inclusive education and/or early childhood developed will be preferred.
∎ Working experience in refugee camp context in education in emergency will be an advantage.
∎ Technical:
∎ Experience of emergency project management at an operational level.
∎ Teamwork:
∎ Excellent team working and relationship building skills; the experience of working collaboratively and of building partnerships in a multi-cultural environment.
∎ Information Technology:
∎ Good level of computer skills (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Internet).
∎ International Development:
∎ Understanding of the role of international development, more specifically volunteering in Country.
∎ Communication Skills:
∎ Excellent written and spoken English.
∎ Ability to negotiate and maintain relations with government offices.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, able to influence and coach and ability to build partnerships and relationships in a multi-cultural environment.
∎ Experience of cross-cultural working and an understanding of issues of diversity.
∎ Work Management and Problem Solving:
∎ Self-organized with the ability to manage time and tight schedules, working effectively under pressure Ability to work on own initiative, with a creative approach to problem-solving. Strong level of attention to detail
∎ Financial Management:
∎ Good financial management skills.
∎ Flexibility:
∎ To adapt to new situations, with a positive attitude to working in an international organization. Able to travel occasionally and spend time away from base and home.
