Education:

• Master of Science (MSc)

• Master in Social Science (Preferably in Disaster Management or Environmental Science)

Skill and Competencies

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (Especially Climate Change Adaptation, DRR & Emergency Response)
• Good computer skills with typing skill both in Bangla and English language
• Good language skills in Bangla and English
• Strong inter personal skills

Responsible for:

• Project Manager is overall responsible to implement all project activities in the target areas.
• Identifying appropriate capacity building activities involving beneficiary, stakeholders
• Support to conduct training and guiding project staff in organizing training, workshop and other events.
• Provide support to the Coastal team to implement community initiated DRR activities
• Look after the field management, logistic supply and resources
• Ensuring finance at Project level and financial documents.
• Establishing and maintaining liaison and network at program unit level that includes local GOB departments, LGIs, educational institutions, NGOs, CPP Volunteers and similar projects under implementation in the area. 
• Assist in documentation; and establishing and maintaining liaison/ network at program unit level including among District and Upazila level GOB departments, LGIs, other organizations and stakeholders.
• Organize meeting with stakeholders regularly; take minutes of meeting and circulate the minutes.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team within organization and have capacity to maintain supportive network with Local Govt., NGOs and others.
• Willingness to travel in difficult geography.
• Undertake other duties as per requirements of the project

Activities:

• Project Manager will ensure implementation of project activities in the target areas.
• Identifying appropriate capacity building activities involving beneficiary, stakeholders
• Support to develop training module, imparting training and guiding project staff in organizing training, workshop and other events.
• Provide support to project team for implementing community activities related to Disaster Risk Reduction
• Look after the field management, logistic supply and resources
• Work jointly with CPP team during cyclone signal hosted, including dissemination of signal messages, rescue operation, evacuate affected people etc.
• Ensure project team member for resilient activities like Water and Sanitation, Shelter, Plantation and Small scale Intervention    
• Develop monthly work plan, fund requisition as per plan.
• Ensure Financial procedure for implementing field level activities and keeping documents (bill/vouchers) in consultation with respective Finance person and Regional Coordinator
• Establishing and maintaining liaison and network at program unit level that includes local GOB departments, LGIs, educational institutions, NGOs, Volunteers and similar projects under implementation in the area. 
• Report writing including narrative, activity report, case study and other report as per requirements of supervisor.
• Regular field visit, and follow up activities as per plan.
• Assist in documentation; and establishing and maintaining liaison/ network at program unit level including among District and Upazila level GOB departments, LGIs, other organizations and stakeholders.
• Organize meeting with stakeholders regularly; take minutes of meeting and circulate the minutes.
