Job Responsibilities:
∎ General:
∎ S/he must have experience in working with Human Rights related projects and activities. The overall responsibilities of Project Director is the day to day operation of the organization, implementation of all projects, program and planned activities of the organization. S/he is also responsible to assist the Chief Executive (CE) for all tactical and strategic planning, analyzing, implementing, overseeing and evaluating the development projects. S/he will perform the responsibilities of managing, supervising, controlling, monitoring and reporting of the financial and administrative operations in compliance with the generally accepted practices and procedures. Also s/he will represent the organization at different levels as and when assigned by the CE.
∎ Specific:
∎ To take initiatives for resource mobilization, project procurement and concept/idea development for innovative program with CE for necessary guidance.
∎ To aggressively search for new funding opportunities through submission of EOI, Project Proposal, Concept Notes and any other initiative as situation demands.
∎ To coordinate with all project and program level management on behalf of the CE andto facilitate activities and strategic planning meetings.
∎ To supervise all staff to ensure their proper discharge of responsibilities and act as the program head of the organization.
∎ To represent the organization in related meetings/workshops/seminars as and when assigned by the CE and to represent the organization in different forums and networks.
∎ To maintain liaison with government, non-government organizations, development partners, donors and prospective donors for the purpose of maintaining development relationship and particularly for fund raising.
∎ To travel to project sites to oversee project activities as per work plan routinely and as and when assigned by the CE and provide feedback and guidance to encourage/guide field-staff.
∎ To identify and resolve possible problems arising in the project implementation in co-ordination with concerned management staff.
∎ Ensure compliance with and implementation of all donor-related project specific policies.
∎ Negotiate annual budgets and revisions to the scope of work as required.
∎ Liaise and consult with donor, acting as the main representative and principal interlocutor.
∎ Manage partnerships with project partners, international organizations, consultants, local authorities and ministries, and civil society organizations.
∎ Establish, improve, and maintain accurate administrative, financial, and sub grantee monitoring systems in collaboration with the Finance Manager
∎ To prepare and to facilitate the finalization of all kinds report include monthly, quarterly and annual activity report of different projects by necessary editing input along with donors reporting conditions.
∎ Ensure technical, financial, contractual and political integrity are maintained to safeguard of the organizational reputation.
∎ Oversee hiring, management and development of staff to ensure a diverse, skilled and productive workforce and promote an organizational culture where the values of the organization is practiced.
∎ To perform any other job as and when required by the organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of experience in Human Rights Related Activities.

Salary:
∎ Salary may be negotiated based on the experience of an appropriate candidate.
