Job Context:
∎ RDRS Bangladesh is going to implement a new Project named "Nutrition in City Ecosystems (NICE)" in Rangpur with the support of Synger Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture Bangladesh. RDRS Bangladesh is inviting applications to fill up the position of "Project Coordinator" under "Nutrition in City Ecosystems" (NICE)Project. The position is based in Rangpur district.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The position will be responsible for planning, budgeting, and implementing all the activities related to the project.
∎ Lead a project team and provide professional and technical support to project staffs and other stakeholders of project;
∎ Prepare and implement the operational plan and Ensure that project activities are implemented in time.
∎ Coordination with Government, Local Government and building networks with multi-stakeholders;
∎ Capacity building of community and project staff to achieve project outputs.
∎ Prepare quarterly and annual narrative report, financial report and variance report;
∎ Develop and implement procurement plan and provide audit responses;
∎ Monitor program components at field along with training, workshop, meetings at different level and provide feedback;
∎ Organize performance appraisal of staff as per their job description and design necessary action plan for staff development and implement it accordingly.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 03-05 years practical experience in agriculture and market development projects as mid level position.
∎ Sound Knowledge and understanding on the project's technical components and its implementation process.
∎ Skills in managing a team and ensure the quality implementation of project activities following the guidance.
∎ Excellent computer skills (MS word, Excel and Power Point).
∎ Good interpersonal communiation skill and command over English and Bangla-both spoken and written.
∎ Should have a valid driving license and must be willing to do extensive filed visits by motorcycle in rural areas.
Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
