Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in social sciences/ Gender studies/Public health/Social work/ Humanities/ Community development/ law or other related discipline from any reputed university with minimum 5 years' experience in GBV sector senior position in National / International NGO and experience in emergencies, protection, and gender programing.
∎ Experience of supervising field staff required
∎ Skills Required: Interpersonal Skills, Planning and budget, strategic thinking and planning skills, Strong leadership and team management skill

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manages relationships with donors , develops workplans with them and other relevant CARE Sectors and/or CARE staff for project implementation;
∎ Ensures that projects are of quality and as par with IASC, CARE policy and other international humanitarian standards;
∎ Communicates regularly and arrange donor meetings to monitor and support project implementation
∎ Ensure quality implementation of the project cycle
∎ Ensures project outcome and outputs and are able to comply to requirements in reporting, program quality, and systems;
∎ Develop, monitor and report feedback from beneficiaries/stakeholders on the project to inform project implementation;
∎ In coordination with MEAL and sector lead, ensures targets are efficiently and sufficiently monitored;
∎ Maintain coordination & liaison with CiC, Majhi, SMSD and other GBV actors and other stakeholders
∎ Supervise all staff members of project as well as ensure quality of different activities of project and manage conflict among the team members
∎ Vehicle management for the staffs
∎ Prepare monthly detail implementation plan and ensure its implementation
∎ Ensure close monitoring, supervision of all relevant activities of project
∎ Supervise all staffs and take initiative on capacity building
∎ Management of all supplied logistics/materials/items and ensure the proper use of those.
∎ Ensure the quality works in every stage in project and proper budget management and monthly tracking.
∎ Service Data compilation with relevant staffs of project and analyze towards management of MUKTI & CARE
∎ Maintain the weekly/monthly monitoring checklist and prepare the monitoring report
∎ Make sure regular reports (weekly, monthly, donor report, 5W, GBVIMS, case study and qualitive report sending to CARE
∎ Make sure performance of organizers/volunteers and further development
∎ Project need assessment submit coordination with CARE
∎ Plan and facilitate staff capacity enhancement programs
∎ Organize monthly staff meeting
∎ Develop and support to develop IEC materials
∎ Carry out other related duties as and when assigned by the Project Management authority
∎ Implements capacity building actions (trainings, learning reviews, mentoring and coaching) in collaboration with CARE.
∎ Regular attend different coordination meeting and platform ( camp coordination meeting, UNO meeting etc)
∎ Represent the project in coordination meetings and workshops, as agreed by project management team
∎ Supervises project officers in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities.
∎ Develop linkages and coordinate with relevant actors in camps, in close collaboration with CARE WASH, Shelter and Site Management, Health and Nutrition Sectors partners to ensure integration of work.
∎ Safeguarding and PSEA: To meet the program's objectives for safeguarding and PSEA implementation, make sure team members are protected from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation. serve as a major resource for help, direction, and knowledge on safeguarding for developing a safe workplace. To ensure that safeguarding standards are used in every course of action, team members should practice, advocate, and embrace safeguarding policy concerns.

∎ The Project Coordinator is expected to have demonstrated understanding of gender & protection issues in the context of Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN), Gender & Protection Mainstreaming in Humanitarian contexts, humanitarian principles and GBV Core Guiding Principles. S/he must have community experience in implementing programs that address gender & protection issues. S/he must have an excellent understanding of the gender differential needs and vulnerabilities - and be able to effectively engage and influence others to respond to it through their sectors/programs. An effective, strategic, and innovative influencer with excellent willingness to learn, collaborate with others, to facilitate change in integrating gender and protection minimum standards.
∎ Proven skill in collecting and analyzing complex data using gender and social justice frameworks and must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Bengali, and Chittagong/Rohingya language and can translate complex concepts and simplify these from English to the local language (Bengali and Chittagong/Rohingya).
∎ The Project Coordinator have a high level of initiative, willingness to learn and flexibility.
∎ Demonstrated experience in capacity building for Gender, Protection and GBV in emergencies
∎ Strong knowledge of Gender Mainstreaming standards in Humanitarian Settings, GBV and Protection issues and IASC Gender Handbook and GBV Guidelines.
∎ Strong project and budget management skills
∎ Strong facilitation skills, proven experience in conducting trainings/capacity building on Gender and Protection in English and Bengali
∎ Demonstrated experience working in the FDMN response, humanitarian programs, and collaboration with other humanitarian actors
∎ Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively, including the ability to advocate for and simplify complex gender and protection concepts;
∎ Excellent English and Bangla oral and written communication skills;
∎ Can effectively translate to and from English to Bangla to Chittagong/Rohingya language
∎ Experience in gender and protection programming and implementation
∎ Experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL)
∎ Work experience with international experience in the context of Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals
∎ Demonstrated skills in developing training modules and manuals that are adapted to local contexts and target audiences
∎ Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office package.
∎ Gender advocate with genuine and demonstrated commitment to gender justice
∎ Strong commitment to the rights-based approach
∎ An effective, strategic, and innovative influencer with high initiative to facilitate change in integrating gender and protection minimum standards
∎ Can effectively engage others for gender justice and challenge gender norms and harmful practices
∎ Ability to communicate ideas clearly and facilitate understanding of gender and protection concepts
∎ Strong analytical skills, able to process complex data with a clear social and gender justice framework
∎ High level of adaptability, ability to work in multi-cultural teams

Salary:
