Educational Requirements:
∎ University degree or higher education relevant to Education (M. Ed.), Social Studies, Protection, Development Studies, law or other relevant fields.

Job Context:
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices in Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet. CB is implementing 87 on-going projects covering 209 upazila focusing on six main priorities i.e i) Social Welfare and Community Development, ii) Quality Education, iii) Health Care and Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Development and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples.

∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Cox`s Bazar is looking for suitable candidates (both female & male) for immediate appointment as well as to prepare panel list for Emergency Response to the Forcibly Displaced People of Myanmar in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for all aspects of the project's management, including logistics, procurement, administration, security, visibility, community and beneficiaries liaison.
∎ Oversee and ensure achievements of project targets through overall management of the education programing.
∎ Develop and roll-out the project management tools including quality benchmarks and a supervisory framework and toolkit for the education program.
∎ Prepare, review and update the project's work plan regularly and ensure the project remains 'on track' to achieve the project work plan and objectives.
∎ Follow up on activities and assess progress of implementation, provide solutions and report issues when needed.
∎ Identify technical gaps in the program and solutions to meet these gaps.
∎ Coordinate with other Caritas Bangladesh sector.
∎ Represents Caritas Bangladesh with relevant sectors, sub-sectors, donors at field and district level
∎ Liaise and coordinate with the project partner (Libraries without Borders - BSF), organize meetings, trainings and field visits.
∎ Appraisal and management of the performance of direct reports with continuous feedback.
∎ Plan and provide opportunities for capacity building to project team in consultation with HR.
∎ Ensuring that staff abide by Caritas Bangladesh security procedures and policies. Report any security breaches as necessary.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Program knowledge and skills on budget management including project management cycle.
∎ Knowledge on psychosocial guidelines and approaches related to emergency context.
∎ Familiar with core humanitarian principles, Child Rights, Protection, Do No Harm, Minimum Standard of Education in Emergency, Refugee Law etc.
∎ Computer literacy in Microsoft Office package (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
∎ 4/5 years of proven experience in implementation of Education/adolescent & youth education/Literacy program.
∎ Proven experience working in emergency settings.

Salary: Tk. 75000 (Monthly)
