Job Context:
∎ The key purpose of this position is to ensure supervision and management of field level activities of the project. S/he will be responsible for leading the project team through planning, implementing and managing the overall project responsibilities and will also be responsible for the time bound deliverables and reporting to all concerned. S/he will closely work with team and will maintain Inter-agency collaboration and liaison with the local stakeholders, UN agencies, BDRCS, WASH cluster, Government officials, private sector, local government, local administration, non-government and civil society organizations.
∎ Additional Job Requirement: Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop operational plan in line with the project objectives and approved budget
∎ Ensure efficient management of human and financial resources
∎ Supervise the day-to-day functioning of the Team
∎ Supervise the staff in compliance with organizational HR policies and procedures and to address the staff grievances and conflicts
∎ Monitor program outputs and manage progress against expected output defined in project document
∎ Prepare and submit monthly progress report ensuring both quantitative and qualitative aspects
∎ Ensure timely submission of financial report along with fund requisition for the following month(s)
∎ Organize and participate in visits by donor/development partners with relevant presentations and documentations
∎ Maintaining regular liaison and collaboration with BGS Head Office, World Vision Bangladesh local administration like DC/UNO/Police Stations, UPs and other relevant law and enforcing agencies.
∎ Make regular visit to the project locations to observe and monitor field situation
∎ Manage any type of emerging crisis in the context of project locations and Humanitarian Assistance principles
∎ Perform other duties relevant to the project as required.
∎ Ensure adequate transparency in financial control, proper governing and monitoring to the expenditure of funds as per BGS rules and regulations.
∎ Coordinate with Development Partner while they will pay visit to the field and update them about all activities as required.
∎ Extend cooperation to Partner / Donor and other Partners accordingly.
∎ Maintain liaison with local community and different local stakeholders effectively to ensure proper implementation of the project.
∎ Others:
∎ Use Computer, E-mail & Internet with skilled and confidentiality
∎ If any complex found that, then as early as possible communicate with senior management. Besides this maintain organization rules and regulation and encourage to other staffs.
∎ Accountable about all types of works on related responsible person.
∎ Moreover, carry out other project related duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the BGS Authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have minimum 10 years work experience in NGO sector especially on social development and giving emphasis to work experience in emergency response at Rohingya Camp on WaSH activities at 3-5 years. Computer skill is essential.
Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)
