Experience:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

•  MBBS degree from a recognized Medical College with valid BM&DC Registration
• Master in Public Health degree is preferred.

Skills and competencies:

• More than 3 years of relevant experience (experience in public health, specially NGO and Community Clinic management and operation).
• Should have a proven record of leadership & team building.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English.
• Report writing skills.
• Excellent computer literacy, specially in MS Office and email communication.
• High commitment & motivation to work in remote places specially in riverine areas

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical services.
• Assist in planning, organizing, designing and implementing health programs.
• Carry out patient generation activities.
• Cooperations and coordination
• Supervising logistics management.
• Liaising
• Conduct training
• Community networking

Activities:

• Provide technical assistance to Medical Officer for planning, designing, execution and implementation of programs.
• Develop actions plan for secondary health camps.
• Reviewing monthly medicine requisition, health camp medicine requisition and other requisitions for rationalization.
• Prepare estimated budget for secondary health camps.
• Monitor activities of Project Managers of all floating hospitals of this program.
• Ensure coordination and keep readily available of all reports of all floating hospitals.
• Establish co-operation with stakeholders of various anchoring locations of ship in terms of demand generation, patient flow management & smooth delivery of services.
• Maintain co-operation & collaboration between outreach & ship and monitor satellite clinic activities.
• Supervise outreach component of the program & maintain linkage with ship hospital.
• Maintain close communication and collaboration and liaison with the government administrative, health official and employees at Upazila, Union & Ward level, other NGOs and Friendship Hospitals & other sectors.
• Monitor Health Supervisor for his daily tasks, make him accountable and accomplish timely.
• Ensure reports are timely generated for sharing by health supervisor.
• Prepare monthly work plan and progress reports of the ship and outreach.
• Support and provide backup support of Medical Officers as roving in other ship hospitals of the project location and Friendship’s intervention areas.
• Monitor mHealth (Mobile based health service) operations.
• To undertake any other assignment given by the Friendship Management.                                                                               

Additional Responsibilities

• Help in establishing community-based health services network through FCM.
• Take initiatives to improve the quality of outreach components (satellite, house-hold visit, court-yard session).
• Conduct training on clinical management and ensuring quality services in the floating Hospitals.
• Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability
