Additional Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing donor-funded, community-driven or climate adaptation projects. 
  • Strong knowledge of Locally Led Adaptation (LLA), participatory planning tools (PDRA), and community governance. 
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills in both English and Bangla. 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with MEL systems is an added advantage. 
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and problem-solving skills with an empathetic, facilitative leadership style. 


Responsibilities & Context:

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring RtF implementation remains community-owned and context-specific.
  • Guiding field teams and community groups through participatory assessments (PDRA), planning, budgeting, and implementation. 
  • Overseeing financial compliance and reporting processes for all sub-grant activities. 
  • Acting as the focal point between RVO, Friendship Netherlands, community structures, and local authorities. 
  • Coordinating cross-sectoral integration and learning documentation for internal and external stakeholders. 

Activities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor all RtF project activities in alignment with the locally led approach and LLA principles. 
  • Facilitate capacity building, mentorship, and training for CICs and PSC on implementation, procurement, budgeting, and monitoring. 
  • Ensure timely disbursement of funds to community groups and collect supporting financial documentation in line with audit protocols.
  • Organize regular field visits, stakeholder meetings, and learning events to ensure alignment and capture best practices. 
  • Support MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning) design and execution, including development of community-based indicators. 
  • Liaise with RVO, technical experts, and local government agencies for knowledge sharing, issue resolution, and policy advocacy. 
  • Draft high-quality reports and ensure alignment between narrative documentation for RVO and internal teams. 
  • Ensure strong representation and visibility of the RtF project in national and international platforms, including COP, CBA, etc. 
  • Support internal coordination across other Friendship sectors to ensure alignment with climate resilience strategies.
