Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Program Officer (Institution Building) will be responsible person for the formation and capacity building of Women and Farmers Associations. His/her major responsibilities will be as follows:
∎ The incumbent will be responsible for the formation and capacity building of Women and Farmers Associations taking necessary engagement, mobilization and coordination.
∎ Organize and conduct various need=assessment of the project related association formation and capacity building processes.
∎ Organize and facilitate 4 step Association building workshop and processes.
∎ Organize and facilitate skill development for the members and its management of the Associations for capacity building.
∎ Organize exposure and learning activities for the Association’s members
∎ Provide assistant for their capital formation and community works of the associations.
∎ Preparing event-based reporting and support the project coordinator for preparing different donor reports.
∎ Organize and facilitate various capacity building sessions, workshops, trainings, mobilization, campaign etc. relevant to project activities and livelihood improvement of members of Associations through holistic approach of association formation.
∎ Assist for capital formation and community work of the Associations.
∎ Facilitate and participate in different training and workshop, meeting for module development of the project.
∎ Ensure integration of program approach with other sectors and department of government services.
∎ Strengthen and establish a community-level group to support business and provide linkage with key stakeholders.
∎ Establish communication with stakeholders including service providers, civil society organizations, village level institutions, local government bodies and government departments in regard to project activity.
∎ Provide all sorts of support to the Project Coordinator in the project implementation.
∎ Others:
∎ Regular user of Computer, E-mail & Internet with skilled and confidentiality
∎ If any complex found that, then as early as possible communicate with senior management. Besides this maintain organization rules and regulation and encourage to other staffs.
∎ Accountable about all types of works on related responsible person.
∎ Moreover, carry out other project related duties and responsibilities as and when required.
∎ Additional Job Requirement: Perform any other assignment related to the project and organization assigned by the project management.
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program Officer- Intuitional Building will be responsible for the formation and capacity building of Women and Farmers Association. S/he will be responsible for conduct and organizing all off-farm training and workshop under this project. The program Officer will also to coordinate all training activities including awareness, capacity and skill building interventions, prepare Issue based and appropriate training module and conduct trainings and their documentations. He/she will also coordinate for vocational skills training and employment generation of youth under the project. S/he will coordinate with related government department regarding registration of association.
