Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Program Officer Inclusion will be responsible to provide technical expertise on gender and inclusion. The Program Officer -Inclusion will manage "An Initiative to End Gender Based Violence in the Garment Industry" in line with the agreed plan. He/she will network and build relationships to enhance Christian Aid's gender and inclusion programming and contribute to Christian Aid's overall strategy. The post holder will report to Head of Programme and be matrix managed by Senior Program Officer - Gender and Governance

∎ To work with Bangladesh country programme and other colleagues in Christian Aid in ensuring that gender and inclusion is mainstreamed in programmes. The role will provide technical expertise to
∎
∎ Christian Aid and partner organizations on gender and inclusion. The role holder will work with the team to ensure that gender and inclusion is integrated from program design to implementation. The role holder will be responsible for managing the project, "An Initiative to End Gender Based Violence in the Garment Industry" on behalf of Christian Aid. The role will also represent Christian Aid in meetings and networks and will increase the profile and visibility of Christian Aid's gender and inclusion work as well as country program.

∎ Key outcomes
∎
∎ Provide technical assistance to ensure that project activities promote and include gender and inclusion outcomes and components, and they are implemented and designed accordingly.
∎ Provide technical expertise to develop program monitoring systems to enhance documentation.
∎ Prepare regular updates and written reports as required for programme reporting.
∎ Ensure completion of project actives within the project time frame.
∎ Produce IEC materials and lead the awareness and advocacy campaigns
∎ Undertake regular field visits to monitor the programme progress and ensure the quality of programmes.
∎ Represent Christian Aid in networks and sectors.
∎ Facilitate assessments and surveys (baselines and end lines) in association with programme and MEAL team.
∎ Facilitate and support quality programme development processes from a gender, inclusion and governance lens.
∎ Positive relationships developed with Christian Aid staff and partners.
∎ These key tasks and responsibilities are subject to change. Any change will be made in consultation with the post holder.

Additional Requirements:
∎ nowledge of women's rights in Bangladesh, development issues and current affairs in Bangladesh.
∎ Good understanding and experience designing and implementing development programs to advance gender and inclusion outcomes in Bangladesh.
∎ Experience working on gender-based violence projects.
∎ Good understanding of human rights, equity, inclusion, gender and governance.
∎ Experience working in consortium/coalition approach.
∎ Solid understanding of Project Cycle Management.
∎ Experience in coordination with different stakeholders and partnership management
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Excellent verbal and written fluency in English and Bangla.
∎ Confident and clear communication skills, with an ability to transmit key messages in a variety of ways, appropriate to different audiences.
∎ Desirable:
∎ Experience working on projects with the garments sector.
∎ Training and facilitation skills.

Salary:
∎ Full time salary: 136000 per month
