Job Context:
∎ Women Job Creation Centre (WJCC) was founded in 1990 with the aim to support poverty-stricken women and children.WJCC is now one of the leading women-based organizations in the Southwestern coastal region of Bangladesh.
∎ WJCC is implementing Increasing Access to Justice project funded Donor- U.S. Department of State, supported by- NCSCin Dhaka. The project aims to improve access to justice for the grassroot communities including disabled people, at risk populations of child marriage, and Vulnerable Communities (women, juveniles, and indigenous minorities) in Dhaka District. The project team will be guided by a Program Manager. The key leadership position is to provide project management support and thus responsible for overall strategic planning, management & implementation. Lead to project M&E, communication with donors, and stakeholders as well. This position will place in WJCC`s Dhaka office. The duration of the project is nine months.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall planning for the project implementation based on the proposal.
∎ Attend in formal and informal meetings with DLAC, UZLAC, UPLAC, Chawki LAC, and stakeholders, including judges, court personnel, and related partners.
∎ Work with relevant committees, and working groups to implement program activities following the work plan, implementation in the schedule, and Monitoring & Evaluation plan.
∎ Liaise between lawyers and clients, other service providers, and community leaders for victim support.
∎ Ensure implementation and reporting of project activities and achieve project objectives.
∎ Ensure project visibility in the project area.
∎ Build efficient communication with GO/NGO/INGO offices in project areas.
∎ Make necessary referrals for legal aid or other service seekers to service providing organizations on the workplace, family/land matters, or livelihood issues.
∎ Prepare monthly reports, event reports, and other data reports, as required.
∎ Carry out any other activities as and when required.
∎ Ensure the implementation of all activities of the project qualitatively and quantitatively.
∎ Ensure proper coordination to field staff and administration, coordinate with relevant Govt. official to ensure participation in the project implementation, Coordination with the union, Upazila, and district level different stakeholders.
∎ Monitoring of all staff filed level activities.
∎ Conduct and support field visits of the donor, visitors, and other stakeholders.
∎ Responsible to prepare an action plan, work plan, and periodic progress report and submit to the higher authority of WJCC and donor agency.
∎ Capable to promote activities and organizations on social media.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of working experience in this field.
∎ Knowledge of organizational and procedural laws regulating the Bangladeshi judiciary.
∎ Prior experience working with Legal services, Court, the Bangladeshi judiciary, or another justice sector.
∎ Knowledge of coordination, monitoring, report writing, presentation preparation, and safeguarding.
∎ Maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in a sensitive environment.
∎ Effective communication and presentation skills.
∎ Computer skills with Microsoft Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
∎ Excellent influencing, negotiating, and communication skills.
∎ Excellent coordination skills.
∎ Ability to operate in a complex organization, across functions and work on own initiative and collaboratively as part of diverse.
∎ Strong organizational skills, rigorous attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities needed to perform effectively in a demanding position.
∎ Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team leader to achieve results.
∎ Demonstrated commitment to ethics, transparency, and accountability in program implementation.
∎ Excellent spoken and written English and Bangla.
∎ Motor Cycle driving license.
Salary: Tk. 35000 (Monthly)
