Experience:

• At least 10 years

• Bachelor in Water & Environment study/Environmental Science/related field from reputed university.

• At least 10 years

• At least 10 years of working experience with 5 to 7 years in water governance and similar sector.

• Experience project management, partnership management, M&E including financial management;

• Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.

• Person Specifications & Attributes:

• Excellent leadership skill and organizational skills to keep employees motivated and management of operation;

• Fosters an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued and leveraged to achieve the vision and mission of the organization.

• Good initiator, liaison skills, negotiation skills, Donor handling skills, administrative and management skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.

• Good writing skills in English and Bangla, fluency in spoken English is required;

Job Title: Program Manager

Reports to: Director of the organization

Duties and Accountabilities:

• Sector lead of water governance program of Uttaran

• Ensure and monitor program-based projects, capturing learning, challenges, and documenting successful cases.

• Maintain effective liaison with donor representatives and establish connections with new donors.

• Maintain effective liaison with representatives of the private sector, extension officials, Union Parishad, and community leaders to ensure their support in project implementation.

• Provide necessary guidance and backstopping support to team members.

• Provide planning and implementation support to project staff, project coordinators, and managers.

• Ensure timely logistic support to team members and adherence to the financial and HR policies of the organization.

• Take initiatives to improve the capacity of staff members and facilitate team members to internalize different conceptual and methodological documents as well as processes.

• Conduct regular coaching, mentoring, guidance, and accompaniment for project members to ensure the successful implementation of project interventions.

• Develop and share effective monthly, quarterly, and annual operational plans.

• Facilitate the creation of a gender-sensitive working environment within the team and take initiatives to strengthen team spirit.

• Prepare and review budgets according to the work plan and ensure strict adherence to the organization`s financial policies and guidelines in project expenditures.

• Conduct the performance appraisal process for team members and support the creation of a dynamic and enabling working environment within the team and the organization.

• Engage in and participate in other activities deemed necessary for project implementation as assigned by your supervisors.

Salary: 70,000.00 bd tk to 100,000.00 bd tk (Depend on experience)
