Job Context:
∎ Saic Group contributes their effort on a large scale in the education sector in Bangladesh. Almost 1000 (Administrative + Academic) staffs is employed under SAIC Group. And about 15000 Students continue their study under Saic Group. Saic Institute of Management and Technology (SIMT) is looking for Principle/Vice Principal for B.Sc. Engineering courses under Dhaka University.
∎ The role of the Principal will be to provide leadership, direction, and coordination to ensure Institutional smooth operation. The Principal`s main focus should be to develop and maintain effective educational programs within his/her institute and to promote the improvement of teaching and learning.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide overall oversight, leadership, and communication for the department's academic programs by developing, implementing, and monitoring the strategic plan and goals for academic program growth.
∎ He must take care of all academic matters of the college
∎ He must take care of overall administration
∎ Participate with the Institutional Division Office in the selection of professional, clerical, and support staff.
∎ Operating academic activities according to the rules and regulations of the council and the institute.
∎ Ensuring proper implementation and execution of Engineering curriculum, syllabus, ordinance, rules, and regulations while running both the academic and administrative activities.
∎ Implementing the institutional Organogram in each and every level of the institution.
∎ Running and operating the college according to the organization's Service Rules.
∎ Conducting Gap analysis of the teaching staffs and arranging training sessions according to the analysis, to enhance their performances.
∎ Be responsible for the preparation of timetables, class lists and schedules, and supervision schedules and be responsible for their functions.
∎ Hold regular staff meetings for the purpose of discussing educational and administrative matters.
∎ Be responsible for the proper registration and for the maintenance of up-to-date student cumulative records.
∎ Maintain or direct the maintenance of other records and files, and the preparation and submission of reports as required.
∎ Supervise to ensuring 100% industrial experience through extensive networking and communication.
∎ Performing public relation duties and assist management Forming international linkages and developing network globally.
∎ Any other duty assigned time to time by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 45 to 60 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experienced person in relevant sector will get preference.
∎ Strong computer skills.
∎ Fluency in oral and written English.
∎ Competent in office administration.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills.
∎ Excellent organizational skills.
∎ Excellent communication and listening abilities.
∎ Should have leadership, organizational, time management and multitasking abilities.
∎ Sound Computer skill and good communication skill
Salary: Tk. 80000 - 120000 (Monthly)
