Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate with 1st class or 3.00 CGPA in any engineering discipline from a recognized university and 12 years of teaching experience with post graduate or equivalent degree in any subject including at least 3 (three) years of administrative work experience in managing an equivalent educational institution. Or
∎ 10 Years teaching experience with Ph.D degree in engineering from a recognized university. And at least 3 (three) years' experience in administrative work.
∎ Note that the candidate should have at least 05 (five) publications in reputed journal. Predatory Journal publication is not acceptable. Conditions may be relaxed for more experience candidates.
∎ Provided that in terms of educational qualification, there should be minimum 2nd class or equivalent CGPA at all levels.

∎ Saic Institute of Management Technology (SIMT) is looking for Principal for B.Sc. Engineering courses under Dhaka University.
∎ The role of the Principal will be to provide leadership, direction, and coordination. The Principal`s main focus should be to develop and maintain effective educational programs within his/her institute and to promote the improvement of teaching and learning.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide overall oversight, leadership, and communication for the department’s academic programs by developing, implementing, and monitoring the strategic plan and goals for academic program growth.
∎ He must take care of all academic matters of the college
∎ He will also be a professor in the respective department.
∎ He must take care of overall administration
∎ Operating academic activities according to the rules and regulations of council and college.
∎ Ensuring proper implementation and execution of Engineering curriculum, syllabus, ordinance, rules, and regulations while running both the academic and administrative activities.
∎ Implementing the institutional Organogram in each and every level of the institution.
∎ Running and operating the college according to the organization’s Service Rules.
∎ Conducting Gap analysis of the teaching staffs and arranging training sessions according to the analysis, to enhance their performances.
∎ Be responsible for the preparation of timetables, class lists and schedules, and supervision schedules and be responsible for their functioning.
∎ Hold regular staff meetings for the purpose of discussing educational and administrative matters.
∎ Supervise proper registration and for the maintenance of up-to-date student cumulative records.
∎ Maintain or direct the maintenance of other records and files, and the preparation and submission of reports as required.
∎ Maintain direct communication with Dhaka University for academic issues.
∎ Any other duty assigned time to time by the Management.
