Responsibilities & Context:

We are a dynamic and growing accounting practice based in Australia, seeking a hard-working, creative, and highly organised Practice Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an offshore role, providing vital support to our practice principal and compliance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise directly with clients and our compliance team regarding accounting, BAS, and tax preparation work

  • Manage day-to-day practice administration tasks including billing, filing, scheduling, and record keeping

  • Oversee client file storage and practice data management, ensuring information is accurate, secure, and well organised

  • Handle client onboarding, including setup of new client files, data collection, and compliance documentation

  • Assist with ATO administration including correspondence, lodgements, and compliance follow-ups

  • Oversee marketing and client communication initiatives to enhance practice visibility and engagement

  • Provide proactive support in overall practice development and operations

  • Work closely with the practice principal to manage priorities, projects, and client deliverables

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an accounting/tax practice administration role preferred

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero (essential), plus strong skills in MS Office/Google Suite and cloud platforms

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal in English)

  • Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines

  • Proactive, dynamic, and client-service oriented mindset
