Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities: • Develop PLC programs using industry-standard languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) for various control systems. • Design and implement Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications for operator interaction and system monitoring. • Integrate PLC and HMI systems with other components such as sensors, actuators, and communication networks. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including controls engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers to deliver automation projects on time and within budget. • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of control systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. • Provide technical support and assistance to field technicians during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in PLC/HMI programming and industrial automation.
