Skills Required: Raw material planning, Inventory Management, Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), BOM, ERP Software
Additional Requirements:
- Age 26 to 32 years
Should have strong knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and inventory planning.
Good understanding of demand forecasting, sales forecasting and procurement planning.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze Forecast vs. Actual, consumption trends, inventory levels and demand fluctuations.
Good understanding of import processes, LC/TT, shipment tracking and material in-house procedures.
Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power BI and data analysis; knowledge of ERP/SAP will be an advantage.
Strong coordination and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
Ability to identify supply risks and take proactive corrective actions.
Strong reporting and presentation skills.
Good negotiation, follow-up, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Responsibilities & Context:
Develop and execute raw material import plans.
Plan and monitor local and imported raw material requirements.
Ensure uninterrupted production.
Monitor inventory levels, holding days, excess stock, aging inventory and slow-moving and non-moving materials, and drive actions to optimize inventory.
Support MPS and production planning.
Ensure BOM accuracy and analyze forecast vs. actual demand, consumption and inventory data.
Coordinate material readiness for new model/product launches with R&D/R&I and ensure the timely availability of required materials.
Prepare procurement budgets, planning schedules, and inventory reports; conduct regular planning reviews and provide actionable insights to management.
Drive continuous improvement.
