Phlebotomist
Unit: Sample Collection Unit
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria as per the relevant professional and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities – Phlebotomist
- Collect blood and other specimens from patients following standard procedures.
- Properly identify, label, handle and transport collected samples.
- Maintain infection prevention and control standards during sample collection.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during venipuncture and specimen collection.
- Maintain proper documentation and sample collection records.
- Coordinate with laboratory personnel regarding sample handling and processing.
- Perform other duties assigned by the hospital authority.
