Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for end to end managerial & administrative activities of Hematology Department
∎ To coordinate with clinical & paraclinical staff to ensure the appropriate patient care as per their clinical needs
∎ To work in close coordination with the front desk/CCO (Customer Care Officer) to ensure smooth service planned for the patients visiting the Outpatient department
∎ To liaise with the BMT coordinator to ensure the seamless & hassle-free Bone marrow transplant Services
∎ To coordinate with referring Physicians to ensure timely visit and ensure the advice given is implemented after coordination with the NCPs and Coordinator
∎ To Review the medical records of all the patients and ensure the file is updated as per the JCI Policy & Protocols
∎ Ensure proper Consents and counseling before any Interventional Procedure as per the Policy & Protocol
∎ To coordinate with the Supply chain/ Pharmacy to ensure timely availability of regular & rare medication/equipment after proper compliance
∎ To coordinate with the DMS Office as and when required for any assistance required
∎ To coordinate with the in-charge nurses for smooth functioning of the inpatient management not only in the Hematology ward but also, those who are admitted in the other Wards as well as ICU/CCU
∎ To maintain proper cross functional communication with Lab/Radiology/Transfusion medicine/wards/Emergency/procedure area/ICU & or any other area as and when required for any specific need or to resolve the issues
∎ To monitor the departmental activity & give inputs for any qualitative improvement in OPD & IPD areas
∎ To write & maintain suitable communication with different authorities as needed for patient care
∎ To organize & coordinate the activities of the Consultants both for OPD & IPD
∎ To coordinate nonclinical OPD operations
∎ To organize departmental meetings, Medical Boards, Tumor Board, CME with the various depts/ other organizations
∎ Responsible for Data collection, analysis and preparing power point presentations of the Hematology & Bone Marrow Transplant Unit
∎ To communicate effectively with Patients, Attendants and Caregivers
∎ To communicate effectively with HR as and when required
∎ Update patient data on daily basis and keep it ready and to present in different formats when needed
∎ To Coordinate with Coordinator & DMS office to keep their Privileges updated time to time
∎ Assist in Root Cause Analysis for any incident report & coordinate in implementing the corrective action plan
∎ Regular monitoring the departmental quality indicators
∎ Any other responsibility assigned by the department and/or DMS office

Additional Requirements:
∎ Advanced level Computer skills particularly in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
