Responsibilities & Context:

Job Description:

Niamah Food and Beverage Industries Limited is seeking for some Pastry & Bakery Chef / Assistant Pastry & Bakery Chef to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, specifically bakery products, and will be responsible for overseeing our production & Research & Development (R&D) unit.


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Menu Development: Create and develop a range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods that align with our brand and seasonal ingredients.
  2. Baking & Preparation: Oversee the daily preparation and production of pastry items, ensuring consistency and quality.
  3. Leadership: Lead and manage the pastry team, including training and mentoring junior staff and assistants.
  4. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of ingredients, order supplies, and manage costs to minimize waste.
  5. Hygiene & Safety: Ensure that all pastries are prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  6. Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends and introduce new and innovative pastry concepts.
  7. Assistance: Assist the Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
  8. Preparation: Prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and ensure consistency in the quality of the final product.
  9. Team Support: Work collaboratively with the pastry team and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  10. Hygiene & Safety: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  11. Inventory: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and replenishing supplies as needed.
  12. Innovation: Contribute ideas for new pastry items and seasonal menu changes.
