  • MBBS from a recognized institution

  • Postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology (DO / FCPS / MS / MCPS)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant clinical experience

  • Proven experience in cataract surgery (Phaco/SICS) will be a strong advantage

  • Experience working in rural or resource-limited settings is preferred

Job Summary

Grameen Health Care Services Ltd. (GHS) is seeking qualified and dedicated Ophthalmologists to provide high-quality, comprehensive eye care services across its hospitals and vision centers in district and rural areas. The role involves clinical service delivery, surgical care and community outreach to improve eye health and prevent avoidable blindness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive OPD and IPD ophthalmic care to patients

  • Perform cataract surgeries and other ophthalmic surgical procedures

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of eye diseases and conditions

  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, quality standards, and patient safety

  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and clinical staff

  • Actively participate in community outreach programs and eye camps

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and reports

Contribute to continuous service improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
