Experience:
Fully responsible for all Operational aspects of the departments
Inspect the rooms assigned for the arrivals daily and address any issues related to the Housekeeping or Maintenance
Work closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure the upkeep of the property
Address any defected/Concerns related to the Front Desk, Housekeeping and Maintenance and resolve them swiftly
Oversee and coordinate daily hotel operations to ensure a seamless guest experience
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality
Collaborate with departmental heads, including front desk, housekeeping and maintenance to optimize the workflows
Monitor and analyze the guest satisfaction surveys and reviews, implementing improvements as needed
Support and work closely with all the HOD’s to ensure a smooth functioning of the operation
Handle guests concerns and complaints with professionalism and commitment to resolution
Maintain a good relationship with the Government bodies and personal, at all times
Ensure the hotel is in operative condition receive & serve the guests at all times
Conduct regular operations team meetings with all the HOD daily / weekly to discuss routine operational matters and ensure service recovery
Ensure SOP implementation in all departments and check the same during routine operational checks. GM’s guidance is to be taken when required
Monitor the purchase/ requestions of each department, the accounts receivable (collection from debtors) and the accounts payable (payable to the vendors/suppliers, etc).
Carry out random inspection of the stores (F & B / Kitchen) to check the stock in hand (quality, par stock levels, expiry, etc) with the F & B Manager and chef.
Coordinate with the Suppliers / Vendors for quality products involving the Purchasing Manager and providing performance assessment of vendors every quarter
Inspect all departments for SOP implementation.
Inspect all departments with their respective Managers for cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture.
Monitor the co-ordination between all departments for smooth & efficient operations.
Identify the staff learning needs and assisting with their development by conducting relevant trainings
Provide timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required either formally or informally.
Be available on call 24/7 to resolve any urgent problems or emergencies.
Responsible for the overall management of the operation of the hotel.
Stay informed about the industry trends and best practices to drive continues improvement
Brief the GM regarding the activities of the hotel and tasks conducted daily
Any other duties assigned by the GM
