∎ Purpose: The Online Course Designer will work under direct supervision of the Manager- Online Education of USAID Bijoyee Activity of BYLC, which is the strategic partner of CARE Bangladesh, including some other partner organizations. The project focused on a comprehensive Initiative focused on empowering and engaging young people in Bangladesh. It aims to address various aspects of youth development, including education, skill building soft skills, creating the environment for employment, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and social inclusion as stated in project documents.
∎ The Online Course Designer will ensure quality production through all stages of course production and post-production, including but not limited to course footage shooting, making film sets, and video editing of USAID Bijoyee Activity. He will based in Dhaka North Hub, USAID Bijoyee Activity.
∎ Duration: 3 years with possibility of extension for further period as per project requirement.

∎ Essential Requirements: The Online Course Designer will lead the Training under Dhaka North Hub of USAID Bijoyee Activity team for achieving having:
∎ 1) Understanding of design curriculum and facilitation for soft skills training
∎ 2) Strengthen youth leadership through targeted support of local youth-led and youth-serving organizations to promote youth participation as decision-makers and key contributors to individual, household, community, and national well-being.
∎ 3) Strengthen youth systems, in partnership with youth, to provide more coordinated and effective services, practices, and policies that embody the principles of BYLC.
∎ Core responsibilities: Strategic: (10%)
∎ BYLC's Strategies and project goals, policies, plans, and guidelines are properly maintained
∎ Support to enhance on to establish strategies for organizational and institutional development, growth, and sustainability
∎ Initiatives to enhance BYLC's image and leadership role nationally and globally
∎ Institutional and program regulatory approvals and adherence of country laws and regulations
∎ Promote and practice BYLC Values (Integrity, Respect Towards Others, Empathy, Excellence in everything We Do, Continuous Development and Practice Adapting Leadership) at all times
∎ Ensure Safeguard and protection of life and dignity of all associated personnel of BYLC as well as the assets and property.
∎ Operational: (80%)
∎ Assist in producing educative video content. Responsibilities include assisting in video shoots, working graphics with chroma key, colour grading, and creating motion basic sound engineering.
∎ Develop course visualization concepts and implement the ideas through creative presentations.
∎ Write & review shooting scripts and raw material to create shot decision lists based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity.
∎ Work on image manipulation & illustration.
∎ Build relationships with relevant stakeholders, including other departments and external partners.
∎ Making creative digital visual effects, motion graphics, Graphics design & video editing for Social media like YouTube, Facebook & any other relevant sources.
∎ Checking finalized educative and promotional video content before publishing.
∎ Generate innovative ideas and creative content for print and digital platforms
∎ Develop engaging, creative, innovative static for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages.
∎ Review design drafts by the Supervisor and make revisions based on the feedback received
∎ Generate innovative ideas and creative content for print and digital platforms
∎ Conducting research on current presentation and design trends, learning new concepts and tools, and keeping updated
∎ People Management and Relationship Building: (10%)
∎ Conduct regular meetings and contribute to helping team members understand and establish goals and responsibilities to increase their capacity and engagement.
∎ Receive feedback from team members and transform their feedback into action for continuous improvement and employee satisfaction.
∎ Establish and maintain inter-departmental collaboration and coordination concerning effective and efficient management
∎ Establish and maintain liaison with existing and potential external stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience: At least 03 years (s) of a similar level of experience
∎ Experience in generate innovative ideas and creative content for print and digital platforms
∎ Experience in designing and delivering a capacity-building training online module
∎ Experience working with youth organizations, project field management, and training in any NGO/ development organization
∎ Experience in training, learning, and development management for USAID-funded projects will give an advantage.
∎ Required technical skills: Proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Animate) and DaVinci Resolve.
∎ Basic photography and videography skills. Image manipulation and illustration skills.
∎ Applicants who have experience in 2D/3D animation will get preference.
∎ Experience in training planning, coordination, and field implementation.
∎ Excellent writing and speaking skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Oral and written language skills in Bengali and English.
∎ Excellent skills in G Suite (including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive), presentation, advanced MS Excel, and PowerPoint presentations.
∎ Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
∎ Effective coordination and collaboration with the government, local youth organizations, and the community in Manikganj and Gazipur.
∎ Interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
∎ Required Soft Skills: Self-motivated and self-driven individuals can promote community engagement.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with colleagues and partners in a cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment.
∎ Willingness to work flexible hours is a critical requirement for this role.
∎ Should be dedicated to daily task completion.
