Responsibilities & Context:
Import Operations Management:
Coordinate and oversee all import activities, including documentation, shipping, customs clearance, and delivery.
Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs procedures, and trade laws.
Prepare and process import documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
Customs Clearance:
Liaise with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth clearance of goods.
Resolve any issues related to customs, such as delays, inspections, or discrepancies in documentation.
Inventory and LogisticsMonitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and update relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate with the warehouse and inventory management team for the receipt and inspection of goods.
