Employment Status: Full-time

Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Accounting or Finance from a reputed university.
∎ Master Degree will be an added advantage.
∎ TAX related exams will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The candidate must be able to handle all VAT & Tax related works of the company independently in a timely manner
∎ Ensure proper compliance as per Bangladesh Income Tax Law and VAT Act
∎ Adapt to concerns relating to new Tax & VAT rules, SROs and amendments
∎ Ensure monthly/ half yearly/ yearly Tax & VAT returns
∎ Assist Tax & VAT related works with the factory & monitoring calculations
∎ Regularly reviewing the application of Tax and VAT in the company and its systems and making updates and improvements where necessary
∎ Identifying areas where the company and businesses can reduce tax, make claims, and increase profit
∎ Liaise with regulatory authorities as necessary
∎ Perform any other duties as assigned by the management

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Should be self-motivated, dynamic leadership, planning/budgeting competency, energetic & capable of working under pressure.
∎ Knowledge of the IAS/IFRS, Budget, Tax/VAT regulations
∎ Hands-on experience in Accounting software/ERP systems
∎ Must have excellent oral and written English communication skills
