4 Years Bachelor's degree with a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Television, Film & Photography, or a related discipline.
Certification in full-stack digital marketing or media relations will be considered an added advantage.
Minimum CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00 and GPA 4.00 out of 5.00.
No 3rd Division/Class at any level.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in public relations, media, or digital communication at a private university or similar organization is required, with preference given to candidates with experience in education or campus pages of national newspapers.
Strong skills in writing, editing, content creation, and storytelling in both English and Bengali.
Proficiency in social media platforms, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Server Site Tracking, and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
Knowledge of SEO and web content optimization is preferred.
Excellent public speaking and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in high-pressure environments.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends, if necessary.

Job Responsibilities:
Public Relations and Media Communication
Prepare and distribute press releases, news articles, and media kits to promote university news, achievements, and events to the enlisted news outlets.
Develop strong relationships with media personnel, media houses/outlets, and ensure regular media coverage of university activities.
Coordinate the university’s participation in external public events, exhibitions, or conferences.
Support the organization of press conference and media briefings, media visits, and coverage of major institutional programs.
Maintain a digital media archive and track press mentions of GUB.
Assist in crisis communication and ensure timely internal and external messaging during sensitive situations.
Digital Communication and Branding
Develop a comprehensive GUB Brand Guideline.
Manage the university’s brand image by managing digital platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and website updates.
Design and execute strategic digital campaigns in collaboration with the multimedia and content team.
Monitor online engagement and respond to comments/messages across platforms.
Collaborate with the Branding Committee and serve as a communications liaison when required.
Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and branding across all university communications according to the brand guideline.
Outreach Support and Event Promotion
Collaborate and coordinate with the Admissions and Promotions Office to promote outreach events, college visits, and student engagement programs.
Provide communication and media support for admission fairs, seminars, international research conferences of GUB and school/college-based events.
Support the creation of marketing materials (flyers, posters, presentations, etc.) for outreach programs.
Attend outreach events to document, promote, and support on-ground communication needs.
Contribute to planning events that enhance the university’s image in the community.
General Responsibility
Perform other duties as assigned by the Joint Registrar for Admission and Public Relations. Stay updated on design trends, emerging tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, AI-assisted design), and recommend innovative approaches to enhance GUB’s digital presence.
