Experience:

• 2 to 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Microbiology

• B.Sc. degree in a related subject from any recognized university with 2–3 years of experience as an Assistant Demonstrator/Assistant Lab Instructor. 

• Diploma degree in a related field with 5–7 years of experience in the relevant field.

• Candidates having experience in scientific instrumentation and maintenance will be given preference.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University

• Prepare laboratory setups for microbiology practical classes and demonstrations.

• Prepare, maintain, and properly store microbiological media, reagents, cultures, and laboratory equipment.

• Assist faculty members and students during practical sessions, experiments, and research activities.

• Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and disposal of biohazardous materials in compliance with laboratory safety standards.

• Maintain laboratory safety, hygiene, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Perform calibration, cleaning, and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.

• Maintain inventory records of laboratory supplies and ensure timely requisition of materials.

• Keep accurate documentation of laboratory activities, stock registers, and usage records.

• Support internal and external laboratory inspections and accreditation processes.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the department authority as required.

• As per the University policy.
