∎ At least a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science, Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.

∎ At least 2-3 years working experience and knowledge in MEAL, preferably in Child Protection-related projects.
∎ Proven working experience in community-based projects.
∎ Proven campaign management skills for climate action and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
∎ Sound understating on the national and international climate change adaptation policy, SDGs, etc.
∎ Excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken).
∎ Strong project management, partnership management and budget management skills.
∎ Basic knowledge and experience in Child Protection programming.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collect, process, analyse, and share monitoring data to support course corrective decision-making for interventions and improve programme quality, as well as evaluate the outcomes of programmes with a particular focus on all projects of the Child Protection Sector.
∎ Evaluate prioritized aspects of our work as per donor commitments and overarching organizational guidelines.
∎ Establish and maintain an accountability system in line with the Core Humanitarian Standard, which enables children and communities to (i) be informed about our mandate, the nature of our response, and their entitlements, (ii) contribute to decisions about the design and implementation of our activities, and (iii) provide and receive timely, appropriate responses to complaints and feedback about our interventions, which will help improve the response; and

∎ The Opportunity
∎ The Officer- MEAL is mainly responsible to assist Manager- MEAL, CP to provide adequate support in the areas of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning and knowledge management, research, reporting to ensure efficient and effective MEAL system is being implemented in the project under the Child Protection sector complying with Save the Children International (SCI) standards and procedures.
∎ This person will assist/support the Manager- MEAL, CP to implement the MEAL system at the project level to track project progress and implement Quality Benchmark (QB), accountability system, facilitate learning and knowledge management mechanisms at the project level. S/he will be responsible for developing data collection tools, orienting data collectors, and supervising data collection. S/he will also be responsible for ensuring data quality, Data Quality Assessment DQA, project information system, data management, updating the MEAL database, troubleshooting technical problems, and analysing MEAL data at key intervals. S/he will support to conduct of training/workshops to build the capacity of the project staff on MEAL and provide them with ongoing MEAL technical support. S/he will coordinate with the Manager-MEAL, CP for providing support to the Child Protection Sector to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the Cox’s Bazar Area Office, donors, and other stakeholders.
∎ The overall function of the Officer MEAL CP is to:
