Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate/Master’s degree in Business Administration/ Agriculture/ Agro Machinery/ Economics or in related field.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing sustainable enterprises in growing economy involving agricultural equipment or similar types of methods and services in proposed areas
∎ Creating profit opportunities (incentives) that drive enterprise behavior which can play a vital role in reshaping the business environment fostering a more open, competitive economy.
∎ Making a favorable business environment offers with low transaction costs to help enterprises respond to market demand improving the business environment with a broad impact on the private sector including both national and foreign investors.
∎ Explore national and international OHS and environment standards policy and guideline with SMEs
∎ Co-development and practice of industry OHS and environment standards for SME and larger firms focused on increasing competitiveness and better work for employees
∎ Build collaborations in the private sector to transform market institutions and improve the business environment to achieve the highest impact for enterprise and their economic growth which is usually achieved by reforming the business environment and promoting growth in key sectors of the economy including financial and business services.
∎ Carefully manage to change enterprise behavior and performance associating public-private counterpart engagement.
∎ Arrange linkage meeting, business training among/for different stakeholders, market actor, producer group and relevant private sector.
∎ Play an active role to increase competitiveness in market development and improve efficiency implementing potential interventions
∎ Establish business incubation and accelerator centers through PSP for capacity building of youth & women
∎ Making a network among women and youth led enterprises or working scopes and build/upgrade their capacity through different programs
∎ Approach with access to finance product markets providing new opportunities to improve enterprise performance.
∎ Minimize/close the financing gap to accelerate enterprise growth and economic growth in developing with transition economies.
∎ Support profitable financial institutions and competitive financial services for SMEs.
∎ Build commercially viable business services, such as quality assurance and production improvement, accounting and audit, management consulting, Internet services, and market research which will increase productivity.
∎ Enhance competitiveness among all enterprise
∎ Assess, develop and support enterprise business associations for capacity strengthening and market growth
∎ Assess, develop and support enterprise for improving and expanding business
∎ Assess and strengthen improved product supply chains through PSAs, dealers and retailers
∎ Prepare and present training programs and conduct day to day business advisory support to and when needed
∎ Liaise with project partners, government officials, other programme stakeholders, and relevant counterparts for SMEs development
∎ Assist SMEs to participate and demonstrate at public & private sectors leded fair
∎ Develop and regularly update all database, ensure all activities are fully documented
∎ Regularly collate and consolidate reporting KPIs

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years’ experience working in implementing market development projects with minimum 2-3 years in a mid-level managerial position is preferable.
∎ Ability to write clearly and concisely and to orally communicate effectively; listens to others, correctly interprets messages from others and responds appropriately; demonstrates openness in sharing information and keeping people informed;
∎ Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals; solicits input by genuinely valuing others’ ideas and expertise; is willing to learn from others; shares credit for team accomplishments and accepts joint responsibility for team shortcomings;
∎ Ability to establish priorities, plan, coordinate and monitor work plan; allocates appropriate amount of time and resources for completing work.
∎ Takes ownership of all responsibilities and honors commitments; delivers outputs for which one has responsibility within prescribed time, cost and quality standards
∎ Strong knowledge on Agri machinery value chain, PS, DAE & stakeholders related to mechanization.
∎ Sound knowledge of M4P,SME, Private sector engagement, local service provision, Agri Machinery
∎ Sound knowledge on enterprise creation and growth, SME level performance assessment, trade and investment analysis.
∎ Understanding of SMME development
∎ Proven ability to apply a business or commercial thought process in decision making, planning and implementation of projects
∎ Be able to communicate effectively at all levels, ensuring understanding, trust, buy-in and commitment from internal and external stakeholders
∎ Goal driven, result oriented, innovative, personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, drive for results & team focused
∎ Take initiative and ability to plan & manage activities with limited supervision
∎ Good networking skills & strong administrative skills
∎ Capacity to work under pressure and hardship environment.
∎ Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds
∎ Strong training facilitation and community mobilization skills
∎ Strong communication, linkage and networking skills
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Ability to travel and undertake fieldwork in rural contexts
∎ Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, email and the internet
∎ Familiarity with internet based software systems such as Google Apps and Salesforce
∎ The position would be the regular employment of iDE-B
∎ The remuneration package, work days and deliverables might be change based on negotiation between iDE management and the contract
∎ iDE reserves the right to terminate this agreement any time with the consultation of the employee as per HR policy
