∎ Job Summary:
∎ Responsible for assist to manage capacity initiatives, different forums/platforms, and meetings/workshops of Homes and Communities (H&C) of DM sector.
∎ Key Working Relationships:
∎ Internal: CB Regional Director, CB DRM Head, CB Communication Manager, Homes and Community Manager.
∎ External: CRS H&C TA, CRS H&C Knowledge Management TA, CRS DRR/R Program Managers ,CRS MEAL Manager, H&C Partners Other NGO/Partner Organization Communications Officers, Media, as well as GoB, Donor and other Public Relations Officers, etc.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Trainings and Learning events:
∎ Support to build upon the learning need assessment on Shelter and Settlement/ Homes and Communities with Community of Practice participants and learning alliance members, by keeping updated training calendar, coordinate with internal/external participant and facilitator.
∎ Support with developing participatory Trainings/ Learning events/ facilitation guides for Online/ Face to Face training and Learning events.
∎ Maintain all the training related documents like approval records, attendance sheets, payment records, amortization letter, training brochures, data base etc.
∎ Coordination and Collaboration:
∎ Support to Maintain liaison with different universities, organization, platforms to achieve the H&C Outcomes.
∎ Represent in TWIG and Key meetings under the Guidance of H&C Advisors and H&C Manager.
∎ Support to organize any events, meeting, workshop for H&C Project such as Bangladesh Housing Forum, Asia Shelter Forum etc.
∎ Professional Growth:
∎ The Position will remotely work with the Global Humanitarian Department from CRS who shall provide accompaniment, hands on job.
∎ The Position will remotely support other Homes and Communities opportunities from the ASIA region if needed for his/her own professional growth.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in any reputed organization. Training implementation experience will added value.
∎ Experience in event management.
∎ An interest and experience in and ability to build capacity in implementing teams, local partners and community bodies, with a focus on humanitarian response.
∎ Ability to work in partnership with different organization, academia, government and NGOs/INGOs as appropriate.
∎ Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
∎ Ability to write training reports and procedure manuals/modules and develop relevant documents.
∎ Self-reliance and an ability to work in challenging and demanding environments
∎ Awareness, sensitivity and understanding of cross-cultural issues particularly in representing a Catholic agency.
∎ Experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, Power Point), web conferencing applications, and information management systems.
