At least 6 years of uninterrupted service experience in the Financial Administration Division or related fields of a reputed commercial bank or NBFI.



Responsibilities & Context:

Accounts Related Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing budget variances report of different segments i.e. deposit variance, investment variance, profit variance etc.

  • Prepare MIS related report to analyze the financial health of the Bank.

  • Prepare and maintain regular Financial Performance Reports related to quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual Business Conference.

  • Preparing Bank Reconciliation Statement within the stipulated time.

  • Ensure the reconciliation of major general ledger balances.

  • Preparing monthly & quarterly financial performance memo and quarterly financial statements.

  • Preparing the genuine payment and receive vouchers and ensure a standardized & effective centralized payment process.

  • Preparing, Checking and Settlement of all end service benefits.

  • Assist Credit Rating Agency during Bank’s Credit Rating Process.

  • Assist and coordinate with the internal/external auditor for completion of the different audit.

  • Preparing CAMELS Related documents, sending the same to Bangladesh Bank and complying the CAMELS report.

Tax & VAT Related Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing yearly Corporate Tax and VAT strategies.

  • VAT and Tax management as per regulatory guideline and laws, conduct proactive VAT and Tax planning to ensure appropriate income tax liabilities of the bank and appraise the management accordingly.

  • To monitor and comply all legal issues relating to finance matters, TAX, VAT etc.

  • Ensure the deduction of AIT and source tax & VAT and deposit to government treasury complying with prevailing Tax & VAT laws & regulation.

  • Ensuring up to date Tax & VAT Return and Assessment procedures.
