Skills Required: Additional Requirements: Minimum 02 years of relevant professional experience in accounts and finance in a large organization.
Familiarity with SCI financial regulations and reporting requirements is advantageous.
Proven experience in financial management, preferably in projects funded by international donors.
Experience in budget monitoring, financial analysis, and reporting.
Proficiency in using financial management software and tools.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Fluency in English and Bangla languages, both written and spoken.
Age limit for the applicant would be 35 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
Responsibilities & Context: Job Purpose:
- Increased equitable access to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities: Considering the varying vulnerabilities and needs of adolescent girls and young women, the project will have interventions for adolescent girls between ages 13-16 who are in, and out of, school as well as targeted interventions for young women between the age of 17-25 who are not in school, In short Girls` Education and Skills Programme (GESP) Project.
- The project will provide market-driven skill training for young women to meet the varying needs and challenges of marginalized young women. This includes vocational training through outreach centers, blended model, mentorship model and referral services. These different models will accommodate different interests, constraints, and capacities of the targeted young women especially child marriage and/or Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) survivors. The project will ensure that adolescent girls can use the P2E platform to develop skills and receive training and certification needed to secure in-demand roles and access opportunities for improved livelihoods. The proposed project will pilot recreational play facilities for children of young women participating in the training sessions to ensure a participation and increased attendance at the training sessions. The project will also build capacity of young women on entrepreneurship skills and establish entrepreneurship hubs, where young women will be able to access information, advice and resources to support them to become entrepreneurs.

Financial Management:
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and donor requirements of Girls` Education and Skills Programme (GESP) Project funded by Save the Children.
- Monitor project expenditures, review financial records, and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting documentation.
- Collaborate with the project team and local implementing partners to manage financial resources effectively and efficiently.
- Financial and Contractual Compliance;
- Ensure adherence to financial and contractual requirements set by the donor and other relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare financial reports, including budget utilization reports, financial statements, and other financial documentation as required.
- Assist in preparation of audit schedules and support audit processes as needed.
Budget Monitoring and Analysis
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular updates on budget utilization to project management.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for cost optimization.
- Support in development of financial forecasts, projections, and budget revisions as necessary.
Donor Invoicing and Reporting
- Ensure timely submission of invoices, financial reports, and other financial deliverables to the donor.
- Ensure compliance on deduction of VAT and Tax at source as per Govt. rules.
- Maintain effective communication with the donor regarding financial matters, responding to queries and providing requested information.
Financial Record Keeping and Documentation
- Maintain proper financial records, including vouchers, receipts, bank statements, and other supporting documents.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and organization of financial records for easy retrieval and reference.
- Support in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, as required.
Compliance and Internal Controls
- Implement and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard project assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend measures to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in conducting financial training and capacity-building initiatives for project staff and implementing partners, as necessary.
- Support the UCEP program to carry out the project output with collaboration with other components.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Other Benifits: Salary:
Monthly consolidated BDT. 45,000/- (Forty-Five Thousand only)
