Bachelor's/Master's in Occupational Therapy.     

Professional certification or registration from a recognized body is preferred.

At least 1 year of clinical or practical experience in occupational therapy.

Experience working with children with autism, cerebral palsy, sensory processing disorders, or physical disabilities is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

-        Assess clients' physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial functional abilities

-        Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy intervention plans

-        Conduct regular therapy sessions targeting daily living skills, fine motor skills, and sensory integration

-        Recommend and train clients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices

-        Collaborate with speech and language therapists, special educators, and other professionals

-        Educate and support parents and caregivers on strategies for home and community settings

-        Maintain accurate client records including assessment findings, session notes, and progress reports

-        Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences

-        Monitor client progress and adjust therapy goals and plans accordingly

-        Contribute to awareness campaigns, workshops, and community outreach programs

Additional Requirements

-        Strong knowledge of occupational therapy assessment tools and intervention approaches

-        Expertise in sensory integration techniques and fine/gross motor development

-        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-        Empathy, patience, and sensitivity in working with children and diverse populations

-        Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

-        Good documentation and report writing skills

-        Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

-        Passion for humanitarian and social work

-        Self-motivated, responsible, and organized

-        Ability to work under pressure and manage a varied caseload
